Appendix C -
Turn off MarketBrowser Automatic Startup on PC Restart

So you want to turn off MarketBrowser AE's automatic startup? We recommend that you reconsider and allow MarketBrowser to startup with your PC. MarketBrowser AE is small and resource-friendly, because we thnk you should never be more than 1 click away from your stock charts and analysis. The ability to minimize MarketBrowser to your system tray and then summon your data instantly is quite powerful.

But you're the boss! If you decide to turn off MarketBrowser AE's automatic startup, simply:

  1. Click on the Windows "Start" button in the lower left corner of your screen.
  2. Move to 'All Programs' (simply 'Programs' for pre Windows XP computers).
  3. Navigate to the 'Startup' folder under which you'll see an icon for MarketBrowser.
  4. Right-click on the MarketBrowser icon and choose "Delete" from the popup menu.

Once you make these changes, MarketBrowser will no longer turn on with your computer. You can still access MarketBrowser by clicking on the "MarketBrowser" icon on your desktop, or by clicking the Start button, pointing to Programs, and then clicking on MarketBrowser in the list of programs.
